We spent some time today learning how to read a vernier caliper. We also used algebra tiles to expand and factor polynomial expressions. Students were given a Ch. 1-8 Provincial Exam Review package. Students should work through the questions to guide their further studies in preparation for the provincial exam on Mon. Jan. 28. Ch. 8 Trigonometry Test
Students wrote their final unit test today. We will use the remaining classes to prepare for the provincial exam. Ch. 8 Review

Today we worked on problems involving non right angle triangles. Our strategy was to break the triangle into a right triangle and use the primary trig ratios from there. Assignment: p. 340-341 #1-11 odds Ch. 8 Trigonometry
