Assignment: p. 163 #2-6, 15 Today we started with a Slope Quiz. We then started 4.2 Rates of Change which is an application of slope.
Assignment: p. 163 #2-6, 15 Today we started the class with a Function Notation Quiz. We then moved on to 4.1 Slope of a Line. We calculated this by finding the rise and run between 2 points and using a formula.
Assignment: p. 156 #1-4, 5acegi, 10 Today we went over 3.3 Linear Equations. We discussed how to recognize a linear equation from its equation and how to graph by finding its intercepts.
Assignment: p. 133 #1, 2, 3ace, 4abcdghkl, 7, 9 Today we looked at 3.5 Function Notation by seeing how function notation can be used with a graph.
Assignment: p. 220 #1, (2-4)abcd, 7a, 8c, 9a, 11, 12, 16, 17 Today we started with an Identifying Functions Quiz. We then moved on to 5.5 Function Notation.
Assignment: p. 220 #1, (2-4)abcd, 7a, 8c, 9a, 11, 12, 16, 17 Today we went over 3.2 Functions. We looked at what a function is, why they are important, and how to recognize a function.
Assignment: p. 123 #1, 3-8, 10, 12, 14 Today we continued our study of 3.1 Relations by looking at more examples of stating the domain and range.
Assignment: p. 116 #1-3, (7-10) every other letter Today we went over 3.1 Relations which looks at how 2 quantities can affect each other. We also looked at different ways of representing the domain and range.
